The Study Material on the United Nation Organization

The United Nation Organization was inaugurated on 24 October 1945 AD.  The American President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave it the name as United Nation. The delegation of powerful country of the World met on 21 August 1944 AD in AUX house of Washington for the formation of United Nation. The Prime Minister of Britain, The President of Soviet Russia and the President of America met in Yalta city of Russia on 04 February 1944 AD for the United Nation in which decision was taken about the voting system in United Nation. There was 51 founder member country of United Nation. The supremo of 50 country was signed on the Official paper of United Nation on 26 June 1945 AD. Poland signed on the official paper of United Nation as the 51th member. At present, there are 192 Country are the member of United Nation. Montenegro is the last member of United Nation.

The Head quarter of the United Nation is in New York. The Office of United Nation was came into the existence in 1952 AD  and the first assembly (meeting) of the United Nation was held in October 1952 AD.

The background of the flag of United Nation is Yellow and the logo of United Nation is designed on it in white colour. The square branch of two olive is the logo of the United Nation. The map of World  is designed in the centre of flag.

The Official language of United Nation is English and French . United Nation allow the other following language then English and French. These languages are:-

America is main financer in United Nation. USA contributes 22% of the Budget of United Nation while India contributes 0.3% of the Budget of UNO.

General Assembly:- All delegate of the member of United Nation are participate in the General Assembly of United Nation So, It is called small Parliament of World. All the member Country may be sent its five member in General Assembly of United Nation but One Country have only One Vote. The Session of the Assembly of United Nation is started on the third Tuesday of September and going up middle of December every Year.

Security Council:- It is the main part of United Nation.  International Security is the main responsibility of Security Council. Thus it is also called the Policeman of the World. There are 15 member of the Security Council of United Nation in which 05 members are fixed while  10 members are changeable. The fixed member are USA, Russia, Britain, France and China. The General Assembly of United Nation elect its changeable member for two years with two- third mandate. Every member of Security Council have one vote.  There are 09 positing voting is necessary for any work in United Nation in which it is also necessary that all the fixed member vote positively. If any fix member gave own negative voted then it is considered that the member use own Veto power and in that situation related work is considered as not pass. Soviet Russia used its veto power several time.

Economic and Social Council:-  There are 54 member of the economic and social Council of United Nation. The period of the member of Economic and Social Council is 03 Years. The Economic and Social Council of United Nation is the fixed organization but it one third members are elected every year. Generally, the meeting of Economic and Social Council is 02 times in a year---first meeting in New York in the month of April and Second meeting in Geneva in the month of July. UNICEF is the part of this Council.

Trusteeship:- United Nation adopt the trusteeship system instead of Mandate system of  Nation Organization. United Nation formed a Trusteeship Committee for related work. The main work of trusteeship system is that the country which is unable to handle itself due to several reason then as per trusteeship system, United Nation handle that country on own responsibility without any profit. USA, Britain, New Zealand and Australia are the member of Trusteeship Committee.

International Court of Justice:-  The inauguration of International Court on 03 April 1946 in Heg of Netherland. There are 15 Justice in the International Court and their teneur is 09 Year. All Justice of International Court belong to different 15 Country. The Official language of International Court is English and French. The Nagendra Singh of India had the chief justice of International Court and R.S. Pathak had the justice of International Court.

Secretariat:- Secretariat of United Nation deals the daily work of United Nation. Secretary General is the head of Secretariat.  Secretary General is the elected for five year on the recommendation of Security Council.
