The Life of Mahavira and his Lecture:-
The birth of Mahavira was in 540 BC in Vaishali (Bihar). Siddharth was the father of Mahavira and Trishala was the mother of Mahavira.Trishala was the Sister of the famous Lichhivi King Chetak. Bimbisar "the King of Magadha" married Chelana who was the daughter of Chetak, so Mahavir was also related to the Haryak Dynasty of Magadha. Yashoda was the wife of Mahavira. Mahavira had a daughter "Annuja".
Mahavir became a monk after the death of his parents in his age of 30 Years. He became a member of Pasharvanth's School for two years and after this he visited many many places for 10 years. Mahavira spent his first six years of his visiting period with the founder of Ajivak Panth "Makkhliputra Goshal". Mahavira obtained Knowledge about the Truth in the age of 42 years at Rimbhikgram (रिम्भिकग्राम ) in Eastern India, after this he addressed religious lecture for 30 Years and finally, he died in 468 BC in Pavapuri. Mahavira lived 72 years.
